Jun 14, 2016 at 17:51 | comment | added | Ron Maupin♦ | I told you what I would do in my comment, but this is not really something that has a single answer. Any answers will be opinion-based, and that is off-topic here, but it is perfectly fine in Network Engineering Chat.
Jun 14, 2016 at 17:48 | comment | added | Satish | I have two option and i want to pick one (Trunk vs Routed). Which option you will pick? Just trying to find how many network engineer follow that path and why?
Jun 14, 2016 at 17:39 | comment | added | Ron Maupin♦ | This seems to be opinion-based, and should probably be asked on Network Engineering Chat, but it would seem that you want routed links from the router to the layer-3 switches, and a routed link between the layer-3 switches. You then create the VLANs on the layer-3 switches, and run HSRP on the VLANs between the layer-3 switches.
