I'm trying to set up the equivalent of some VRFs. Some SVIs within each. And then trunk the VLANs on a set of interfaces within SROS. So, Ive set up some VPRNs, SAPs and VPLS's like so,

vprn 2 customer 2 create
    route-distinguisher 65307:1

    interface VLAN4003 create
        address 10.2.1.144/31
        vpls VLAN4003
        exit
    exit

    interface VLAN4004 create
        address 10.46.91.30/28
        vpls VLAN4004
        exit
    exit

vpls 4003 customer 4 create
            description VLAN4003
            allow-ip-int-binding
            service-name VLAN4003
            sap 1/1/39:4003 create
             exit
            sap 1/1/40:4003 create
             exit
            sap 1/1/41:4003 create
             exit
            sap 1/1/42:4003 create
             exit

             exit
                no shutdown
            exit

vpls 4004 customer 4 create
            description VLAN4004
            allow-ip-int-binding
            service-name VLAN4004
            sap 1/1/39:4004 create
             exit
            sap 1/1/40:4004 create
             exit
            sap 1/1/41:4004 create
             exit

             exit
                no shutdown
            exit

The question is. How do I ping from the VPRN? Tried a few things (below)....

ping 1.1.1.1 detail service-name VLAN4003
MINOR: CLI Invalid router "4003".

ping 1.1.1.1 detail source 10.2.1.144
PING 1.1.1.1 56 data bytes
Send failed. Source IP address is not local to the system
