Spanning-tree starts all ports as "blocking" until it can confirm no loop. The process can take up to 30s. On my 2810, without any other explicit configuration, it only takes a few seconds.

As you can see, the switch is automatically classifying the port as an "edge". The state for Trk2
(LACP group to another switch) shows OperEdgePort: No, because it goes to a STP enabled switch. Notice the port comes up even faster because LACP completes in 100ms...
