Consider a topology where R1 and R2 are connected.
R1 has following networks. 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24 192.168.100.1/32
R2 has following networks. 192.168.2.0/24 192.168.30.0/24
192.168.2.1 and 192.168.2.2 are common networks between R1 and R2.
Router ID of R1 is 0.0.0.1
Router ID of R2 is 0.0.0.2.
Packet 10 R2 says it is master and sets seq no 214189752 Packet 12 R1 says it is master and sets seq no 214245756 Packet 13 R2 says it is still master and sets seq no 214189752 Packet 14 R1 realizes based on router id that it is slave and sets seq no 214189752
It also has a summary LSA with Link State ID 0.0.0.1
Packet 15 R2 sends Link state request to R1 for ID 0.0.0.1 Packet 16 R1 sends LS Update for ID 0.0.0.1
Now from here on wards it gets weird.
Packet 17 R1 sends LS Request R2 asking for ID 0.0.0.2
However in the pcap we didn't see summary DBD sent by R2. So how is the logic written here ?
