Aug 28, 2022 at 5:31 | comment | added | Mol | Thanks for such a thorough answer! i'll be honest i read the whole thing 3 times and im still not completely following, i think the gist of it its that the routher has some tables that bind both ports for incoming and outgoing purposes, so in theory for my example i could have 0.0.0.1:23 <=>157.178.10.13:1000 for an ftp server And at the same time i could have on the same machine 0.0.0.1:80 <=>157.178.10.13:1001 for a a http webserver am i understanding correctly, or am i way off? | |
