Ensuring Network Stablity
When you say that you mentioned "optical because I mentioned digging" says that you can actually see the future :) This explains your's non-trivial capabilities to solve the non-trivial problems :).

Ensuring Network Stablity
It is becoming much more interesting now. You basically say that in order to fix the plug connections we must switch to the optical cable. It is really non-trivial solution. You must be a true professional :)

I wonder why sand storm affect the signal inside the coaxical cable. Don't you thing that if it is true that the sand on the surface of the cable is so harmful, buring the cable into the sand would stop the communication completely?

Does base station electric power consumption depend on the traffic?
@JeffMeden We should focus on this indeed. Assuming 2g and any other kind of fridge would be a big mistake as it is to ignore the network and fridge size and generation. Which kind of cinema should be correct to speak about?

Delays and throughput
bandwidth = maximal transmission rate, as is discussed all over internet.

Delays and throughput
Why do you compute thourghput this way? I would say that file time/size = bandwidth. It is throughput only if you watch realtime movie which does not load your channel to the max. From the definition I would say they would be considering propagation delay also makes no sense.

Does TCP improve the ability of IP to send really really large files?
@CraigConstantine How disgusting is the idiotic rule to deny a good question if it happens to be a homework.
